All that you need to know about Equi Vision Challenge 2025
Equi Vision Challenge 2025 is a premier equity research competition organized in collaboration with the CFA Institute, designed to develop and showcase the financial analysis and investment research skills of university students.
Equi Vision Challenge 2025 tests participants' ability to analyze a designated publicly traded company, prepare a comprehensive equity research report, and present their investment recommendations to a panel of industry experts. This competition simulates the role of a research analyst, providing students with hands-on experience in equity valuation, financial analysis, and professional presentation skills.
Competition Structure: The competition is a 4-stage challenge
- Round 1:
- Quiz Round
- The top 300 teams from the quiz round will qualify for the second round.
- Round 2:
- 5 slider presentation submission on the allotted company
- The top 100 teams will qualify for the third round.
- Round 3:
- Detailed equity research report submission in the CFA Institute Research Challenge format along with working Excel files.
- The top 10 National finalists will qualify for the final round.
- Round 4:
- Virtual presentation to a distinguished panel of judges.
Eligibility:
- Participants need to register in a teams of 2
- Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students enrolled in accredited universities
- Participants must meet the eligibility requirements for the CFA Program Level I exam
- Participants must be from the same college/institute
- Interdepartmental teams are allowed
Scholarship Details:
- The scholarships will be effective starting August 2025
- The winners will get scholarship vouchers from CFA Institute which they can use while registering for the CFA Level 1 program
- Scholarship details will be sent directly to winning students via their registered email addresses
- Participants are advised to review the eligibility criteria for both the CFA Program Level I exam and the scholarship before registering for the competition
- Winners must meet all CFA Program enrollment requirements to utilize the scholarship
Note:
- Teams will be immediately disqualified if plagiarism of any kind is discovered at any point during the competition.
