Robo Oceana: Stages and Timelines
Eligibility Round - Submission of video (via Unstop)
This will be a submission round! You will see the “Submit” button here, once you register and the round is live. Submit the video (as a Google Drive link) of the hovercraft climbing up a ramp of an angle greater than 15°, carrying a small table tennis ball picked from the bottom (the picking-up should also be shown).

Guidelines:
- A team must contain a maximum of 4 members.
Eligibility Round:
- The contestants must record and send a video of the hovercraft climbing up a ramp of an angle greater than 15°, carrying a small table tennis ball picked from the bottom (the picking-up should also be shown).
- Submit the video as a Google Drive link (give access to view by everyone) in the submit button available in the column "Stages and Timelines" which will appear once you finish registering.
Main Round:
- The main round is an offline round and is timed.
- In this round, the participants have to place their hovercraft at the specified area in the land arena (start location) and pick a ball from there.
- The hovercraft must carry this ball and move across the land arena to enter the water arena, through some obstacles.
- In the water arena, the hovercraft must drop the ball into the cuboidal cup fixed to the tank and exit from the land arena on the other side back to the start location.
- The hovercraft must again pick a ball from there. This continues till the time runs out.
- The hovercraft must pick only one ball at a time.
Bot Dimensions:
- Bot Dimensions: Smaller than 50*40*40 cms.
- Weight restriction on the Bot: Less than 8 kgs.

- Participants who qualify eligibility round will be awarded certificates.

To attend the finals at IIT Madras, Shaastra passport is mandatory, Every individual must apply for a passport on the Shaastra website. Detailed procedures will be communicated to the finalists following the announcement of pre-final round results.
