PARIVARTAN’19 presents Samarth
First round will consist of a quiz dealing with various business aspects.
Case Study Solution Submission
Participating teams will be required to provide executive write up solutions for a business use case floated.
On Campus Solution Presentation
Selected Teams will be required to come to IIT Delhi and present their solutions in front of an eminent panel of judges from the industry, academia and social service.

SAMARTH’ is the annual Social Case Study competition which is held during PARIVARTAN: The Annual Management, Cultural and Sports Fest of DMS, IIT Delhi.
As a part of the competition, a business case study will be floated and the participants will be expected to provide suitable solutions for the use case. The competition tests the knowledge of the individual teams in various business domains and analyses their ability to come up with practical case solutions.
Event Format
Event is divided into three rounds
- First round will consist of a quiz dealing with various business aspects.
- Second Round will be a case study submission wherein participants have to provide an executive summary of their solutions for a given use case
- Third round will be an On-Campus round where the shortlisted teams will have to give presentation of their solutions to a esteemed panel of judges
* A person can be assosciated with only a single team and the team size may vary from 1 to 3.
*Judges' decisions in all cases will be final and binding. DMS,IIT DELHI holds the rights to the conduct of the competition and reserves the authority to cancel any candidature or alter the procedure at any given time, if required.

About Department of Management Studies (DMS), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi
- The Department of Management Studies is a result of the evolutionary process of growth of an idea floated in 1963. In 1993, the Department was brought into existence by the amendment to IIT (D) statutes. Clearly, the Department responds to a felt need of the Indian Industry and derives satisfaction from its heavy field orientation in all its curriculum activity.
- The Department of Management Studies has 5 fully airconditioned theatres with wi-fi facility as well as LCD projectors so that the best possible environment for learning is ensured. The auditorium has a seating capacity of over 150 and hosts numerous guest lectures, seminars, and other programmes.
- The departmental library houses a large collection of management books and also has one of the biggest collections of management-related fieldwork reports available in any institution.
