Startup Auction
The offline final round of the Startup Auction will take place at IIT Delhi on March 10th, 2025, during Tryst’25. The event will kick off with a silent auction featuring 18 esteemed mentors, each representing a distinguished figure in startup history from their respective industry (two mentors per industry). Teams will engage in competitive bidding to secure a mentor, leveraging their expertise to enhance their startup selections. Winning a mentor grants teams the advantage of additional points allocated to startups from the mentor's industry. Following the silent auction, bidding for the 90 startups will commence. These startups, spanning nine diverse industries, will be divided into two pools. Each team will be provided with an initial virtual budget to strategically bid for startups. Teams must ensure the inclusion of at least one startup from each industry in their final portfolio. The winning portfolio will be determined based on various criteria, including the breadth of startups included, total investment, cumulative points, and the strategic advantage gained from their mentor's industry affiliation.
