About the Event:
Decryptic Conundrum is your chance to display your lexical prowess and immerse yourself in an enthralling battle of wits! Calling all enthusiasts and logophiles, this captivating competition, hosted by the Literary Club of IIT Delhi, is an open arena for solo contenders and dynamic duos. Our mission? To ignite your passion for language and intellect, pushing boundaries and unravelling linguistic mysteries. Let the wordsmith in you embark on this thrilling odyssey. Join us and become a word wizard to be reckoned with. Your linguistic adventure awaits.
Eligibility:
- Participants must have a valid identity card and be a citizen of India. Standard RDV participation eligibility rules apply.
- Registration will be valid both through Unstop and on the spot.
Event Guidelines:
The event is in a team format. Each team can have up to 2 participants. Each team is allowed to attend one preliminary round. Teams selected based on their scores in the preliminary round will advance to the final round. No clashes regarding scoring and selection for further rounds will be entertained, both during and after the rounds. Scores for the preliminary rounds will not be disclosed. The Quiz-Master reserves the right to use their judgment while objections, scoring within the round and during selection for further rounds.
Decryptic Conundrum Rules:
- The preliminary round will be a written crossword that must be solved within the stipulated amount of time.
- The top 8 teams will qualify for the finals, which will be conducted in a format similar to quiz finals (bounce/pounce and written rounds).
- In the event of a dispute, the quiz master’s decision will be final.
Winners will get prizes worth 7k!

About Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi
- An autonomous statutory organization, IIT Delhi, is functioning in terms of the Institutes of Technology Act, 1961 amended vide the Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 1963 and the Statutes framed thereunder.

- To prepare instructional resource material in the conventional as well as the audio-visual; the video and the computer-based modes.
- To interact with the community at large to inculcate in our country women and men a feel for scientific thought and endeavor.
- To cater to the development of a culture for conservation and maintenance.
- To organize our study programmes to prepare manpower also for self-employment and for the unorganized sector.
