Funniche Week - Smash Karts Showdown

Funniche Week, the flagship gaming event of Techniche, is a week full of intense eSports tournaments. With the aim to promote the gaming culture among the youth of the country, Funniche Week provides a platform where one can showcase their skills and battle it out for victory.

About Smash Karts:

Smash Karts is an action-packed multiplayer kart battle game where players race across
colorful arenas, pick up wacky weapons, and eliminate opponents to score the highest number of kills. Unlike traditional racing games, Smash Karts focuses on tactical combat and arena control, offering a unique blend of speed and strategy.

Players can join 3D multiplayer lobbies and compete in short, intense rounds of 4-8 minutes. With a variety ofweapons ranging from rockets to machine guns, and maps filled with fun obstacles and
power-ups, Smash Karts ensures non-stop adrenaline and unpredictability every match.

Guidelines:

• Dates: 24th June to 30th June
• Eligibility: Open For All
• Team Size: 4 + 1 (Substitute)
• Registration Fee: Free

• Format:

• Stage 1 (Qualifiers):
• Teams will be divided into multiple lobbies.
• Each team will play 6 rounds.
• Points will be awarded based on eliminations and placement.
• Top 4 teams from each lobby will qualify for the next stage.
• Stage 2 (Finals):
• Qualified teams will compete in a single group.
• The team with the highest cumulative points at the end will be declared winners
• Rules and scoring system are the same as qualifiers.
• Important Notes:
• Match Duration: Each match will last approximately 5-8 minutes
• Custom Lobbies: All matches will be conducted in custom lobbies hosted by Team Techniche.
• Point System: Custom point system based on kills + placement. Details will be communicated before the tournament.
• Solo registration is allowed. For teams not having 4 members, Team Techniche will allow other participants on a random basis. All the concerned members will be informed regarding this. In case some randomly allotted member fails to respond before, during or after the game, Team Techniche should not be held responsible.

General Rules:

• Mode: 4v4 Team Battle
• Server Region: Asia (default)
• Fair Play: Use of cheats or third-party tools will result in immediate disqualification.
• Communication: Discord server will be used for coordination and announcements.

Maps: 

• Graveyard, Snowpark, Smashfort, Skatepark
• All teams are requested to keep all of these 4 maps updated beforehand
