Warm up Round (Practice)

Exclusive Sudoku practice rounds will be conducted for participants before the contest, to help you sharpen your skills.

Sudoku-Prelims

A moderate Sudoku problem(s) will be shared with all participants in our Telegram/ WhatsApp group, and whoever will share the correct solution back in the least time will get a higher ranking. Top contestants (approximately 1/3rd) will go to the next round.

The Sudoku Master Finale

An advance Sudoku problem/s will be shared with all participants in our Telegram/WhatsApp group and whoever will share the correct solution back in the least time will win.

Event Details:

  • The name Sudoku or more correctly 数独 comes from Japanese, a puzzle with deep roots in Asian history
  • Studies have shown Sudoku increases concentration and reduce stress, it is an addictive habit that every child should have
  • Each of the 9 blocks in a Sudoku Grid (9*9) must include all of the numbers 1-9 within its squares
  • In a row, column, or box, each number can only appear once
  • Each puzzle will be made up of two, three, or "n" sudoku grids that will overlap in various combinations
  • The goal is to complete all grids using traditional sudoku principles
  • It's worth noting that overlapping areas must adhere to the same set of criteria that apply to all overlapping sudoku grids
  • It is completely online and designed to allow participants to experience the excitement, thrill, and puzzling atmosphere of a contest

How to Participate?

  • Register here for the contest by submitting your basic details and registration fee
  • After successful registration, our team will add you to a WhatsApp group (by Mid  February) with all other participants for communication and coordination
  • You will also receive an email regarding the same, for further communication

About Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi

    13. To organize our study programmes to prepare manpower also for self-employment and for the unorganized sector.
