The Art gallery: Stages and Timelines

All that you need to know about The Art gallery

Eligibility:

  • Only 1 Team per college is allowed.
  • Team members should be part of the Art Society of their college Inter-college teams are not allowed.
  • The team should contain at least 6 members and can go up to 8 maximum.

Rules:

  • Prelims
    • Candidates have to upload 15-20 Art and Craft pieces in the form.
    • The top 12 Teams would be shortlisted for the finals.
    • The shortlisted teams will be mailed by the Fine Arts Society, IIT Delhi.
  • Final Round
    • Shortlisted teams have to bring their Art and Craft pieces which they will be presenting in the exhibition.
    • On the day of the event, participants will be allotted a stall (3 Easels and 2Tables) to set up their presentation.
    • You have to explain your presentation to the Judges, marks will be given based on your presentation and explanation.
    • Other updates for the final round will be given through the mail.

Evaluation:

  • Entries will be judged by judges just after the event. In all cases, the judge’s decision will be final. Points will be given by the judges out of 100 on the basis of creativity, theme connection, fine work, etc.

General guidelines:

  • Rendezvous, BRCA, and IIT Delhi follow a strict anti-discrimination policy. All participants are expected to refrain from any form of identity-based discrimination during the event.
  • Rendezvous strives toward making its events inclusive and accessible. Therefore, in case of any participants who have any form of benchmark disability or are gender non-conforming, then the participating team should inform the event POC in advance if any necessary arrangements are required to cater to the unique needs of the participants.

About Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi

    12. To cater to the development of a culture for conservation and maintenance.
    13. To organize our study programmes to prepare manpower also for self-employment and for the unorganized sector.
