McKinsey & Company is hiring for the role of Finance Analyst - US Tax!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Handling other state tax-related tasks, such as preparing tax projections, managing estimated tax payments, and filing extensions for different states and cities.
- You will also provide necessary information for state tax audits or assessments, correspond with state tax auditors and advisors to facilitate field audits or tax return preparations, and liaise with office finance teams to gather information required for the tax accounting process.
- Preparing GL account reconciliations, maintaining the fixed asset register, processing final journal entries for US tax books, and documenting the processes and work performed.

Handling other tax accounting-related tasks as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Semi-qualified CA, or an MBA finance with at least 1-2 years of accounting and reconciliation experience in an MNC or an accounting firm
- Prior US tax compliance experience will be an added advantage
- Good communication skills
- Confident and collaborative team player
- Initiative and desire to excel
- Strong accounting and basic tax knowledge
- Ability to develop relationships and network
- Attention to detail, tenacious in following up
- Ability to handle large amount of data
