McKinsey & Company is hiring for the position of IoT Analyst - Client Capabilities Network!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Work closely with MiCE colleagues and be responsible for innovating and building cutting-edge use cases/prototypes around Industry 4.0 technologies for client showcase
- Get onboarded on digital transformation work and collaborate with consulting teams to provide IoT/Digital expertise for solving business challenges with the technology
- Be an active contributor to creating a technology knowledge base for other colleagues in the firm
- Work collaboratively with a global team and knowledge partners to create and execute research and development programs related to the Internet of Things
- Participate in deep technical discussions of various cutting-edge ideas to identify the best solution for the customer
- Be rapidly prototyping through a combination of wireless, mobile, and cloud apps, location services, and voice recognition
- Conduct and/or participate in voice-of-customer meetings with the prototypes to get end-user feedback and iterate to develop the best solution
- Participate in and drive the definition of new platforms and standards both internally and in external standards organizations
- Manage and develop the experience center and lab environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fields
- 2+ years of experience working in a fast-paced, high-demand business environment
- Hands-on experience working with Python, JavaScript, C, C++
- Hands-on experience working with development engines such as Unity, PTC Vuforia
- Ability to develop prototypes using development boards such as Raspberry pi, Jetson nano
- Ability to quickly learn and develop using new development platforms and new IoT, AR/VR devices
- Exposure to industrial communication protocols, ISA 95 architecture, and cloud enterprise architecture knowledge
- Exposure to low-power wireless technologies e.g., BLE, LoRA, NB-IoT, etc
- Capable of delivering technology workshops independently to C-suite level client members
- Ability and flexibility to manage multiple assignments in a dynamic, complex, and fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with working across a global team based in multiple geographic time zones
