What are the passing marks for CUET 2023?

To clear the CUET UG 2023 and get admitted to the universities and colleges of your choice, a score of 600 and above is recommended. However, if you are looking just to get qualified for CUET UG, a score of 300-400 is the expected minimum.   

What are the admissions process and requirements after the declaration of CUET UG result 2023?

The CUET UG result 2023 was declared by NTA on July 15, 2023. Accordingly, participating universities and colleges will invite applications for admission to the undergraduate programs in due time. Candidates who have cleared the CUET UG 2023 exams can submit their admission application based on the cutoff marks to be released by respective universities and colleges.

How do you evaluate your CUET UG 2023 score?

The result of the CUET UG 2023 examination evaluation follows the marking pattern as provided below: 

Accordingly, the calculation of your score for the CUET UG result will be: 

Total number of correct answers multiplied by 5 minus the total number of wrong answers multiplied by 1. 

Eg: If your correct answers are 50 and the wrong answers are 15, then your score is  50*5=250-15 which is 235.

What is a good score in CUET?

Going by the overall average, a score of around 400-550 is considered a decent score in CUET UG. A score of 600 must be your target if you wish to join any prestigious universities and colleges of your choice. 

How good your score is in CUET UG 2023 will also be based on the cutoff list that will be released by the respective participating universities and colleges in due time. Moreover, there will be different cutoff scores for UR, SC, ST, etc.

How many attempts can one take for CUET UG in a year?

The National Testing Agency is considering conducting the CUET UG examination twice a year. So far, there is no set maximum limit on the number of attempts for the CUET UG examination. Also, the agency has not prescribed any minimum age limit for the CUET UG examination.
