Deadline extended for AICTE PG scholarship worth INR 12,400/month
The All India Council for Technical Education has extended the deadline for online applications for the AICTE PG scholarship once again. While the previous final date for submitting online applications and creating student IDs was 15th January 2021, according to the latest notification released by AICTE, it has now been extended to 28th February 2021. Furthermore, the closing date for the verification of applications by the applicant institutions has now been postponed to 15th March 2021.
The AICTE PG scholarship is available to students pursuing M.Tech, M.Arch, Master of Engineering, and Master of Pharmacy courses with a valid GATE or GPAT score in AICTE-approved programs or institutions.
Some of the essential information about the AICTE PG scholarship that interested students need to know before submitting online applications are mentioned below.
- The AICTE PG Scholarship is not for candidates pursuing part-time or distance courses.
- Students must have a savings account, and the name of the bank account and the name of the applicant should be the same.
- Gate candidates that are admitted to the engineering and architecture program and GPAT candidates admitted to the pharmacy program alone will qualify for this scholarship.
- Students chosen for the scholarship will have to offer an undertaking that says that they will not leave the course midway and if they leave the course they are required to repay the entire PG Scholarship received at the time of leaving the course.
- International students, funded applicants, and candidates accepted to PG programs are not eligible for the scholarship via the management quota.
