DU JAT 2020: A gateway to Delhi University
DU JAT 2020 is scheduled to be held on September 7, 2020 in two shifts. The computer-based exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). DU JAT 2020 is a gateway to Delhi University for admissions into BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies), BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration), BBE (Bachelor’s in Business Economics) courses and other undergraduate courses offered by the affiliated colleges of Delhi University.
DU JAT 2020, however, is a part of DUET 2020, but entirely different in its exam pattern. There are other entrance exams under the DUET 2020 for admissions into the various UG and PG courses offered by Delhi University. For admissions into the course of BBA, DU JAT 2020 is a compulsory entrance exam. Based on the candidate's DU JAT and standard 12th scores, their selection shall be decided.
The Delhi University-Joint Admission test (DU-JAT) is a computer-based entrance examination that consists of 100 questions, that are divided into four sections:
- Quantitative Aptitude
- Reasoning
- English and
- Business and General Awareness
The questions are to be solved within a span of two hours. For every right answer, the candidate will be rewarded four marks each and for every wrong answer, one mark will be deducted.

A time-bound strategy is required to take the DU JAT 2020 examination, with a special focus on Business and General Awareness. The entire section should take you about ten minutes and the other sections, which are quite time-consuming, can be attempted in a better manner. By practicing regular practice papers and the topics online, a good grasp over Reasoning can be attained. Certain topics have similar patterns, for example, coding and decoding, syllogisms, and series.
Quantitative Aptitude demands a rigorous strategy because this is a tricky section. So try to clear your basics first and attempt only those questions which you think are a sure-shot! Verbal Ability can be aced brilliantly by improving your reading skills. The more you read, the more you come across a cohort of new words. Read newspapers, novels, and articles as thoroughly as you can.
The DU JAT 2020 will be conducted in two shifts. The former one will begin from 12 noon to 2 PM and the latter shift shall start from 4 PM to 6 PM for Shift-2. Scoring decent marks in this entrance exam will be a gateway to the best BBA/BMS/BBE courses offered by Delhi University.
