Keeping in consideration the difficulty students might face in reaching their exam centers amidst the lockdown, the students of IIT have developed the portal of ‘EduRide’. The aspirants of JEE and NEET 2020, can access the portal for easy transportation between their remote areas of living and the examination center.
How to apply?
The portal of ‘EduRide’ branches out into two sections for the purpose of registration. The first section is for the aspirants, and the second one is for the volunteers or the alumni. In order to avail of this excellent free service by the students of IIT, applicants have to submit their names, contact information, address, pin codes of their respective centers, as well as the details of their, admit cards.
In order to apply for ‘EduRide’, applicants have to visit the official website at eduride.in. As soon as one clicks on the ‘Students link’, a new page will open that will ask about the student’s personal details as well as the information related to his/her examination. After the successful submission of details, students shall get the required input about their ‘EduRide’ either on their respective email accounts or on the official link.
No hindrance to travel
The alumni or volunteers can also register on ‘EduRide’ to help the applicants of JEE and NEET 2020 in two beneficial ways. They can either take on the responsibility of driving the students themselves to their examination centers or they can make certain transport arrangements for the concerned students.
The website of ‘EduRide’ is created in order to ensure that the applicants do not face any hindrance as far as transportation is concerned. However, it is not a completely-ensured promise that will be delivered. In such a situation, the admin of the portal has requested the applicants of JEE and NEET 2020 to keep other alternatives available at their end in case of any occurrence.
