GAIL Gas Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Maharatna GAIL India was incorporated in May 2008 with the aim to accelerate and stabilize the distribution networks. The entity is responsible for the smooth implementation of City Gas Distribution (CGD) projects across the nation. To help fulfill these projects in a time-bound manner, the company has issued the GAIL Gas recruitment 2023 notification. It is inviting applications from eligible Indian nationals for 120 job openings across domains.

Selected candidates can earn up to INR 60,000 per month plus benefits. Read to find out more about the eligibility criteria, application process, etc.

GAIL Gas Recruitment 2023: Overview

The 120 vacant posts will be filled on Fixed Term Employment (FTE) basis for 3 years which is extendable for 2 years on the basis of performance and requirements. The split up of vacancies across departments and reservations is given in the table below:

Candidates selected through this recruitment drive 2023 will be posted at the installations/ projects/ offices /subsidiaries / JVs etc. of GAIL Gas Limited & GAIL.

Eligibility Criteria For GAIL Gas Recruitment 2023

The educational and experience requirements for the vacancies are:

Sr. Associate (Technical)	Minimum 50% aggregate in Bachelor Degree in Engineering in Electrical/ EE/ Mechanical/ Production/ Production & Industrial Manufacturing/ Mechanical & Automobile/ Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Control/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Electrical & Instrumentation/ Electronics/ Electrical & Electronics/ Civil	The upper age for the UR category is 32 years, with relaxation for reserved categories. Experience requirement for all posts: Candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant field, post-completion of the required qualification. Also, a one-year apprenticeship, if pursued in a relevant field, will be considered a part of the required experience. However same does not apply to summer or vocational training.
Jr. Associate (Technical)	A minimum 50% aggregate score in full-time Diploma in Engineering in Electrical/ EE/ Mechanical/ Production/ Production & Industrial/ Manufacturing/ Mechanical & Automobile/ Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Control/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Electrical & Instrumentation/ Electronics/ Electrical & Electronics/Civil.
Sr. Associate (Marketing)	Minimum 50% aggregate score in full-time two years MBA with specialization in Marketing/ Oil & Gas/ Petroleum and Energy/ Energy and Infrastructure/ International Business.
Sr. Associate (Finance & Accounts)	CA/CMA (ICWA) or Minimum 50% marks in full-time two years MBA with specialization in Finance
Sr. Associate (Company Secretary)	Company Secretary
Sr. Associate (Human Resources)	Minimum 50% marks in full-time two-year MBA/ MSW/ PG Diploma in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations/ HR Management. An LLB will be considered an added advantage.

Note- Candidates with educational qualifications higher than (BE/ B.Tech) will not be considered for the Jr. Associate (Technical) role.

Note that a candidate can apply for one post only.
They must then register themselves and fill out the application form carefully.

The selection for Sr. Associate profiles will be made on the basis of a written test and a personal interview. And for the Jr. Associate profiles selection will be based on a written test/ skill test.
