IIM-A PGPX Placement Report 2021 - Highest CTC 82 LPA, with General Management witnessing maximum number
IIM Ahmedabad has successfully completed its campus placements virtually for the 15th batch of the PGPX one-year program. As many as 119 students got placed with the highest package being 82 LPA, increasing marginally from the previous year’s 81 LPA. The median salary offered stood at 30 LPA and the domestic average salary offered was 32.45 LPA.
This year, 120 recruiters came to the campus with Information Technology (IT) being the most sought-after sector with 37% recruitment (ie. 44 students). The recruiters offered diverse roles at the middle and senior management levels. The notable positions offered include CEO, VP, HOD, Program Head, Senior Director, Director, etc.

Out of the 140 students, 119 students were placed as a part of the placement process. 3 students weren’t placed and one went to start a new venture. The batch had a diverse set of backgrounds with experience levels ranging from 4 years to 21 years. The recruiters offered the roles in different sectors such as General Management, Consulting, E-Commerce, Logistics, etc.

General Management stood out in this year’s placements. A total of 37 offers were made from this popular domain, which was followed by Operations/Supply Chain(18) and Marketing/ Sales(11).
Overall, we can say that the placement process had a good mix of well-established startups and traditional recruiters offering a diverse set of roles to the candidates. Even in the pandemic scenario, IIM A PGPX course attracted many organizations which shows the trust that these companies have for one of the best management institutes in our country.
