IPM at IIM Indore: Selection Process and Registration

An Aptitude Test (AT) and a Personal Interview (PI) will be held for the candidates. Overall performance based on these tests will decide the fate of the candidate’s selection.

Based on the applications received, candidates whose applications meet the eligibility criteria will be called for the Aptitude Test (AT), which will be conducted at designated centers across the country from 10 AM to 12 AM on July 2, 2022 (Saturday).

The test will contain questions from the following three sections:

  • Quantitative Ability (Multiple Choice Questions-MCQ)
  • Quantitative Ability (Short Answer Question-SA)
  • Verbal Ability (Multiple Choice Question-MCQ)

Each of these sections will be held for a duration of 40 minutes.

More Details On AT & PI

Questions for each section must be answered in a pre-specified order. Said order must be maintained for all the candidates. Each question will carry 4 marks. A negative marking of 1 mark will be applied for each wrong answer EXCEPT for the Quantitative Ability (SA) Section. The Guidelines have a detailed description of the procedure for Computation of Aptitude Test Score (ATS).

Personal Interviews will be held for only those candidates who score a minimum passing mark in each of the three sections of the Aptitude Test. Candidates must also possess positive raw scores in order to be selected for the PI round. The Admissions Committee will decide the minimum cut-off mark in each section.

A weightage of 65 marks for the Aptitude Test Score (ATS) and 35 marks for the Personal Interview (PI) will be computed for the final composite score. The intake limit for IPM 2022 batch (Domestic Applicants) is 150.
