Just like Kumar, Aditi Tiwari also had to appear for several rounds of interviews before she received the offer letter from the Meta group.
Before Aditi, the record of the highest package received was held by Sampriti Yadav, Patna, who received a package of 1.1 crore rupees at Google.
As Kumar received the offer from Amazon Germany on April 21, NIT Patna also confirmed that they have witnessed a massive 130% placements this year, breaking all previous records.
Conclusion
With the Covid 19 pandemic, campus placements of institutions were severely hampered. But now, as the pandemic situation improves, placement offers are now returning to their pre-pandemic levels in both B-schools and engineering colleges.
In fact, we are also witnessing a phenomenon of revenge hiring in some sectors where the packages and hiring rates are far surpassing the pandemic levels.
This year NIT Patna has secured the 72nd position in the NIRF rankings, but after the performances of students like Aditi and Kumar, the chances of improved ranking next year look bright. You might also be interested in reading.
