IIM Nagpur placements 2021: Consulting emerges as the most sought-after sector with over 30% offers

IIM Nagpur placements 2021 have been concluded for the outgoing batch of students this year. This year too, the record of 100% placement remained unbroken. 121 students sat in the placement drive in total, with all of them getting placed. A host of recruiters from diverse sectors such as consulting, IT, BFSI, FMCG, etc offering a variety of roles took part in the drive, with 41 first-time recruiters. The year marked a growth in the average CTC offered by 1% to INR 13.21 LPA and a median CTC of INR 13 lakhs. 

Primary domains 

In IIM Nagpur placements 2021, consulting emerged as the most sought-after sector with 31.9% of the total offers. Strategy and analytics followed the lead. IT, BFSI, and FMCG sectors together employed 60% of the total students. Logistics, e-commerce, manufacturing, and ed-tech hired 20% of the total students. Apart from these sectors, the marketing, finance, and operations sectors also offered various roles to students at IIM Nagpur Placements 2021. 

Prominent recruiters

The prominent recruiters at IIM Nagpur placements 2021 were BNY Mellon, ArcelorMittal, DHL, Magicbricks, Deloitte, Dalmia Bharat, L&T InfoTech, Tata power, TVS, ZS Associates, Accenture, Crompton Greaves, HCL, Tresvista, and Urban Company. This year saw the entry of 41 first-time recruiters. They included Bain & Co., Xiaomi, Sula Vineyards, NCR Corporation, Salesforce, Utkarsh Bank, Collegedunia, Zypp Electric, Accolite, and others who hired big.
