What does the opportunity offer?

Indian Institute of Science is looking for two enthusiastic interns to work on two projects. Project one concerns with the ‘History of science’, whereas, project two explores ‘STI statistics.’

B. Chagun Basha, Senior Tech. Specialist at the Office of the Principal and Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, announced the duration of the project to be 8 weeks, on his LinkedIn. 

Selected candidates will work with renowned academics, policy experts, and government bodies. 

Eligibility/requirements for the project

As mentioned by the opportunity cell, IIS invites graduates from any field to contribute to their upcoming projects. 

• Candidates willing to apply for project one— History of science— must be well equipped with the knowledge of contemporary and post-independence history of science. 
• As for project two— STI statistics— candidates should be well versed in science, technology and innovation indicators, bibliometrics, R&D statistics and innovation surveys. Candidates with data analysis skills will be given preference. 
• Immediate joining; preferably on or before 28th November, 2022.

• This is a paid opportunity and the selected candidates will be compensated INR 10,000 per month.
