IIT Delhi Moves To Haryana!

Manohar Lal Khattar, the chief minister of Haryana, announced plans to build a 50-acre extension campus for IIT Delhi in the Jhajjar district's village— Badsa. On November 20th, the Chief Minister met with representatives of IIT Delhi to discuss the opening of this campus, in Haryana Bhawan in Delhi.
The proposal to establish an extension campus of IIT Delhi at Badsa was approved at the meeting by the CM. He gave the IIT Delhi team his word that the Haryana Government will provide full assistance in establishing the campus.
Courses offered in the new IIT Delhi campus
Different kinds of certificate courses would also be introduced on campus in addition to MSc and Ph.D. programs. These unique training courses and programs would not only help young people to improve their abilities but open up a variety of job chances in Haryana.
New IIT Delhi, newer technologies!
According to Khattar, this campus will establish the nation's first center for precision medicine. Precision medicine is the research necessary to provide medication specifically for a given patient. The National Cancer Institute's and IIT Delhi's technical and medical specialists' research will be used by pharmaceutical companies to create novel treatments for cancer patients.
The meeting was informed that this campus would create methods for the treatment of cancer patients utilizing medical imaging and artificial intelligence in order to identify the source of cancer tissue and prevent the removal of the entire damaged organ.
The CM further said that technologies would be developed on this campus to help athletes perform better in sports and to prevent injuries. He stated that in order for the athletes to benefit the most from the technology and research being produced for them, it should be done in collaboration with Sports University in Rai, Sonepat.
Additionally, with the assistance of technical experts from IIT Delhi, research on dental implants, geriatric hip protection systems, prosthetic knee joints, etc. will continue on campus to explore new technology as needed.
