Indian Army SSC (Tech) Recruitment 2023: How To Apply

• Visit the portal to register and apply online. Read instructions carefully when registering. Simply log in if already registered.
• Click on the ‘Apply Online’ on the dashboard and select the ‘Apply’ tab next to ‘Short Service Commission technical Course’.
• Fill out the application form after reading the instructions carefully.
• ‘Submit’ the form after reviewing the ‘Summary of your information’ page.
• Take two copies of the application showing Roll Number, 30 minutes after the closure of the online application on the last day.

Indian Army SSC (Tech) Recruitment 2023: Selection Process

The selection process for the Indian Army Tech Short Service Commission will be as follows:

• The Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) will shortlist candidates on a merit basis.
• Shortlisted candidates will be intimated of center allotment via email.
• Candidates must select dates for Service Selection Board (SSB) interview. The duration of SSB interviews is five days.
• The interviews will be followed by Stage 2.
• Joining letters for training will be issued in the order of merit and number of vacancies available, subject to meeting all eligibility criteria.

Indian Army SSC (Tech) Recruitment 2023: Other Details

• Selected candidates will be granted the rank of Lieutenant (SSC) on probation from the date of commencement of the course or the date of reporting at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, Tamil Nadu, whichever is later.
• They will be entitled to full pay and allowances admissible to the Lieutenant during the training period which will last 49 weeks. The stipend to cadets during the entire duration of training will be INR 56,100.
• On successful completion of pre-commission training, officers will be confirmed Short Service Commission (Technical) in the rank of Lieutenant. 
• Post completion of training officers will be eligible for Lieutenant rank (Level-10) pay grade of INR 56,100 - 1,77,500.
