KIOCL Recruitment 2022: Graduate Engineer Trainee Posts At Ministry Of Steel’s Flagship Company; GATE 2021 & 2022 Scores Valid!

Excellent employment opportunity for Engineering graduates wanting to kickstart their careers in the government sector. Kudremukh Iron Ore Company Limited (KIOCL) has released a notification regarding employment opportunities for BTech graduates from various streams. The selection for 35 vacancies would be based on GATE 2021 & 2022 scores. 

KIOCL Recruitment 2022: Eligibility

Engineering degree in any of the following disciplines from a recognized University. 

• Mechanical 
• Metallurgy
• Electrical & Electrical Electronics
• Instrumentation & Control/Electronics & Communication
• Civil 
• Mining
• Computer Science

The candidate must have passed out between 2017 and 2021 and should have GATE score of 2021/2022. The age of the candidate must be below 27 years. There is age relaxation for SC/ST and OBC candidates. 

Selection criteria, salary and other details

• The selection of the Graduate Engineer Trainees would be on the basis of GATE scores only. No other such examination shall be considered. 
• The selected candidates shall be placed in the E0 level at Bengaluru on the pay scale of INR 40000-3%-140000. Upon successful completion of a one-year training period, the candidates will have to go through 12 months of probation under the same payscale, post which the trainees shall be promoted to the E1 level on an increased pay scale of INR 50000-3%-160000.
• Candidates should not have appeared in different GATE disciplines from their qualifying degree. For example, a candidate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and passed in Computer Science will not be eligible.

The application process is open from 2nd September 2022 to 24th September 2022. 

After applying online the candidate is required to take a print-out of the filled online application form and sent it along with support documents and a Demand Draft of INR 1000 (SC/ST/PwBD are exempted) to the following address: General Manager (HR), HR Department, KIOCL Limited, Koramangala 2nd Block, Sarjapura Road, Bengaluru-560034 on or before 30th September 2022 by post.
