There are 13404 openings for teaching and non-teaching staff across the nation, as mentioned by KVS. 

Eligibility criteria for PGT post

Candidates applying for PGT post must meet the following criteria.

• Master’s degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks
• B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized university
• Proficiency in English and Hindi 

Eligibility criteria for TGT post

Candidates applying for TGT post must fulfill the criteria mentioned below.

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject and in total
• B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized university
• Cleared CTET paper or appearing
• Proficiency in English and Hindi

Eligibility criteria for PRT post

• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education Or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) Or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) Or Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)

• Qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by the Govt. of India
• Adept to teach in Hindi and English medium
