MICA Ahmedabad Placements 2022: 100% Placements With Highest CTC Of INR 57.51 LPA

MICA Ahmedabad has concluded the final placements for the 2021-22 batch of its flagship PGDM in Communication programme with a 100% record. A total of 208 students from MICA got placed with 77 participating companies where IT/ITES emerged as the top recruiting sector rolling out 94 offers.

The average CTC witnessed a 35% rise, going up to INR 19 LPA from INR 14 LPA in 2021. The highest CTC, on the other hand, recorded a 16% rise from 2021 going as high as INR 57.51 LPA.

Response From The Institute

Dr. Shailendra Raj Mehta, the director and president of MICA, attributed the high numbers in the 2022 placement season to the recovery of the Indian market after the second wave of the Covid 19 pandemic. “Our average CTC has significantly gone up and is testimony to our students who bring in innovative and creative solutions with emphasis on critical thinking, cultural and human quotients proving their mettle in organizations,” Dr. Mehta said in a statement.

Madhu Mohan TS, head of corporate and alumni relations at MICA emphasized the institute’s focus on the digital transformation of work, especially after the pandemic. He pointed out that Edutech, Agritech and Fintech are emerging at a fast pace. “We are delighted to have many new recruiters this year and thank our regular recruiters for continued faith in our students,” Mr. Mohan TS added.
