  • Leave Entitlements: 12 days Casual Leave, 10 days Sick Leave, 30 days Earned Leave per year. Additional leave types (El Encashment, Maternity, Quarantine, EOL, Special Casual Leave) apply per policy.
  • Reimbursements: Official mobile call charges/rentals (per policy).

INR 400 for Field Engineer; INR 300 for Field Supervisor.

Selection Process Overview

Written Test — POWERGRID Common FTE Written Test 2025

  • Applicable to all posts (Field Engineer & Field Supervisor)
  • Exam pattern:
    • 75 MCQs total: 50 Technical + 25 Aptitude (General English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness)
    • Duration: 1 hour; No negative marking

  • Field Engineers: Shortlisted candidates are called for interview and document verification, and possibly final medical checks, depending on region/project requirements.
