Punjab National Bank (PNB) is inviting applications for 235 vacancies for specialist officers from graduates and postgraduates in multiple disciplines including MBA (finance), Engineering (B.Tech/M.Tech) & Economics. Per the PNB Recruitment 2023 notifications, candidates can apply online by June 11, 2023.

PNB Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria

As per the PNB Recruitment 2023 notification, the vacancies are open to Indian nationals, subjects of Nepal and Bhutan, Tibetan refugees, or Indian nationals who migrated from specific countries, like Pakistan, Bhutan, Vietnam, etc.

Mandatory: Minimum 2 years of experience as an Officer in any Financial Institution/ Bank/ Central or State Department/ Financial Regulatory Body/ Public Sector Undertaking/ Rating Agency/ Analytics Firm/ listed Private Organization/ Brokerage Agency. Desirable: Exposure in Research Related Works in Economics/ Publication of Research Papers or Articles in reputed journals/ Knowledge in Data Science Tools like SAS, Python etc.
Manager-Data Scientist	25-35	B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science with minimum 60% marks and a 6-month certification course in Data Science/Data Analytics/Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning from specified organizations OR Post-graduation in Statistics with 60% min marks OR B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Data Science/ Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning with min 60% marks	Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Science / Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning Model Development. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in the Banking and Finance sector.
Manager-Cyber Security	25-35	B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science/ IT/Electronics & Communications Engineering OR MCA with min 60% marks and any one of the following certifications: Cisco certified network associate (CCNA) Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA SECURITY) Checkpoint certified security expert (CCSC) Palo alto network certified network security engineer (PCNSE) expert Desirable: M.Tech in Computer Science/ IT/Electronics & Communications Engineering	Minimum 3 years work experience in IT of which at least 2- year experience in managing IT & Cyber Security in large data center/ soc/ c- soc handling following operations: - Security Incidence Event Management (SIEM)/ Perimeter Security (including security devices such as Firewalls/ NIPS/ Anti DDoS/ WAF/ Application Delivery Controller (ADC)/ IS Audit experience especially on application testing/ penetration testing using automated tools.

Note:

The following candidates will receive an age relaxation:

SC/ST candidates, ex-servicemen and children/family members of those who died in the 1984 riots: 5 years
PwD candidates: 10 years
OBC candidates: 3 years

PNB Recruitment 2023: Selection Process

The selection process includes an online written test, followed by a personal interview. Here are the details about the rounds:

The written test will be divided into two parts. Part-I will test reasoning, English language and quantitative aptitude and Part-II will test professional knowledge.

Only candidates who qualify part-1 will be considered for evaluation of part 2.
Duration of the written test is 120 minutes. There’s a negative marking of 0.25 marks.

Candidates who obtain minimum qualifying marks in Part-I, will be considered for shortlisting for Interview on the basis of merit prepared as per marks obtained by them in Part-II i.e. Professional Knowledge Test.
Personal Interview will be worth 50 marks.

Minimum qualifying marks in interview shall be 45% i.e. 22.50 for SC/ST candidates & 50% i.e. 25 for other candidates.

Candidates obtaining minimum qualifying marks in Personal Interview will be provisionally selected on the basis of aggregate scores obtained by them in Online Written Test Part-II i.e. Professional Knowledge Test and Interview.
A candidate should qualify both in the Online Written Test as well as in the interview and be in the merit to be shortlisted for the appointment.

PNB Recruitment 2023: Application Process

Candidates can apply online on the PNB website.
The application fee for SC/ST/PwD is INR 59 and for general candidates is INR 1,180.
Candidates need to ensure they have all required documents at the time of applying, including a scanned copy of their signature and photograph in the prescribed format.

Note: An email/ SMS intimation with the Registration Number and Password generated on successful registration of the application will be sent to the candidate’s email ID/ Mobile Number specified in the online application form as a system generated acknowledgement. If candidates do not receive the email and SMS intimations at the email ID/ Mobile number specified by them, they may consider that their online application has not been successfully registered.
