By the right direction, we mean knowing what exactly a company expects from you and preparing specifically for that company is important. For that purpose, we provide you with company-specific information to help you crack a job interview. 

Note: We are providing a general outline and rounds might differ for certain colleges. Also, these rounds are based on IT sector roles for freshers.

1. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS)

TCS is one of the reputed IT companies headquartered in Mumbai. This IT juggernaut has emerged as a leading global player with interests in information technology (IT) services, consulting, and business solutions.

TCS Recruitment Process

TCS generally has three rounds to select freshers as Software Developers in their organization.

  • Aptitude test: This test is based on the basics of Mathematics, English, and Logic. You can practice online on different websites to become proficient in this part of the process. 
  • Technical interview: TCS gives high priority to trending technologies and your final year project. Make sure that you read about these topics thoroughly to tackle any questions based on them.
  • HR interview: This round usually tests your communication skills and people skills. You would be asked about yourself, particular situations, and your motivation to join TCS. So, prepare them well. 

2. Myntra

Myntra is an e-commerce website for a wide variety of goods such as clothes, smart wear, bags, etc. The company hires candidates via Writing test, Technical Interview I, Technical Interview II, and HR Interview. Candidates need to take care of the evaluation as every round is an elimination round.  

Myntra Recruitment Process

  • Writing Test: This is a 90-minute test in which 25 questions are of aptitude and 2 coding questions will be there. 
  • Technical Interview I: Here, they test knowledge of domain subjects and technical problem-solving ability.
  • Technical Interview II: You will be asked to code or to write a pseudo code of a given problem statement. 
  • HR Interview: They can ask about your goals and motivation for joining Myntra. Be clear with the company’s background information. 

3. Walmart

Walmart, Inc. engages in the retail and wholesale business. The organization offers a variety of merchandise and services at everyday low prices.

Walmart Recruitment Process

Usually, in off-campus placements, Walmart has four rounds

  1. MCQ Test: This round tests your knowledge of computer fundamentals. It is a 25-minute test comprising 30 questions. 
  2. Coding Challenge: 90-min test to solve the coding problem. 
  3. Profile Verification: The candidate’s profile is verified before further rounds. 
  4. Interview Rounds: Shortlisted candidates sit for interview rounds such as Technical and HR interviews.

4. Intuit

Intuit Inc. is a business and financial Software Company.  Intuit is considered one of the Top 100 U.S. Companies that support Healthy Communities and Families.

Intuit Recruitment Process

The Intuit hiring process usually consists of three rounds:

TATA Recruitment Process

Two Rounds are conducted as follows:

  1. D2C Recruitables Assessment: It has 4 assessments that test your general aptitude, programming fundamentals, elementary online coding, and soft skills.
  2. Technical Interviews: They test your technical skills, problem-solving skills and critical thinking skills.

7. Accenture

It is a highly ranked firm in IT. They provide services such as strategy, management, digital, technology, and operations consulting. The firm is consistently ranked as one of the top firms in the world.

Accenture Recruitment Process

  1. Aptitude or Verbal ability round or Written Round - There will be 55 aptitude questions to be completed in 60 minutes.
  2. Technical Interview Round- You should know programming concepts for different technologies like C, C++, Python, Java, etc.
  3. HR round- Basic HR introduction questions to test communication skills.

8. Infosys

One of the Popular IT companies famous for hiring freshers. They are well known for IT and consulting services. Let’s see the recruitment process.

Interview

Technical and HR interview rounds are usually conducted as follows:
