Socialis Impulsum: 180 Degrees Consulting IIT Madras rolls out the case study competition
Socialis Impulsum is the first edition of 180 Degrees Consulting IIT Madras' flagship case study competition which gives you a chance to showcase your problem-solving acumen, data analytics, and solve key challenges of the problem statement. With participation from elite institutes across the country, stakeholders get to prove their mettle against the country’s top B-School and Engineering college students. A chance to win competitive placement preparation programmes and mentorship opportunities for life.
Event process
Socialis Impulsum will have 2 elimination rounds to test you on your problem-solving, analytical, and ideation skills before the final presentation and submission of the case study which will be judged by domain experts from our partnering organization.
- Level 1: Consult and Aptitude Quiz
All registered teams will have to take an online quiz with 30-40 questions to be answered within 30 minutes. All teams will be taking this quiz simultaneously and the results for this level will be declared within 48 hours of the quiz window. It will be based on Consult, Aptitude, Stories of Business Conglomerates, Analytics, etc.
- Level 2: Online Case Competition and Presentation
Shortlisted teams from Level 1 will participate in a case competition and presentation. They'll be given a case study of all relevant facts and figures from the Sponsoring Organization. They'll be able to make submissions until the deadline for this round anytime during the challenge window. Top 5 teams from this level will finally move on to the final presentation or winners will directly be announced from the set of teams participating in this level, depending on the number of teams.
All registered participants to get a certificate of participation. And all participants moving on to the second round will get a certificate of merit. Winners to get a certificate of excellence in addition to the prizes announced.
