The recruitment season 2019-20 at Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) witnessed immense success and participation from all its stakeholders. Ranked as the leading Commerce college in the country by The India Today Group, Byju’s, and The Week Magazine, SRCC registered record-high recruitment statistics this year as well. As per the SRCC placement report 2020,
- The college hosted over 120 recruiters extending 500+ offers to the students
- The placement session saw an overall recruiter engagement across 15 sectors
- It also witnessed the participation of new consulting, finance, and FMCG giants like Auctus Advisors, American Express, Marico for the first time
- Approximately 225+ offers were rolled-out to students in the SRCC placement 2020
- An annual gross value of INR 23.03 Crores was recorded during the season
- The highest package of the SRCC placement 2020 touched the bar of INR 17 LPA even during the COVID period
- An astounding surge in the interests of recruiters hiring summer interns from the institution was observed, where the FMCG giant HUL offered the highest stipend of INR 1.5 lakh per month

Given that COVID had taken a drastic toll on the recruitment sector, it was quite challenging to be able to digitalize the entire process quickly and seamlessly, stated the Chief Secretary, Placement Cell, SRCC. All in all, the statistics of SRCC placement 2020, still shows a gradual rise and didn’t record any fall amidst the hiring freeze.
Way forward
Carrying its legacy of delivering future leaders and entrepreneurs, the SRCC placement report 2020 clearly depicts the tireless efforts of the college Placement Team. Looking forward to the placement season 2020-21, the team is towards developing a comprehensive virtual recruitment portal to ensure a hassle-free hiring experience for its stakeholders. As per the Secretary General of the Placement Cell, they are optimistic about the upcoming season as well. Considering the scenario right now, they are eyeing for increased participation in the virtual mode.
With hopes held high, major global Consulting and Investment Banking giants are all set to visit the campus this year. Moreover, the prominent internship recruiters offering PPOs to candidates have never stepped back when it comes to showcasing their faith and trust that this premium institution enjoys.
The trend of hiring talent from B-Schools and IITs is taking a shift since the last couple of years. Companies are now looking for electrifying young minds from the undergraduate circuit as well.
