Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes in the VIT group of Institutions- Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal, and Amaravati.

VITEEE Exam Eligibility

  • Candidates must be residents of India. Non-resident Indians (NRIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) are also eligible to apply.
  • Candidates must have completed or be appearing for the 10+2 examination from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology as mandatory subjects.
  • Candidates must secure an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination.
  • For candidates belonging to SC/ST categories, the minimum aggregate marks required is 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology.
  • There is no specific limit on the number of attempts for VITEEE, but candidates must meet the age and educational qualification criteria each time they apply as per the official notification.
