IBM is hiring for the role of Associate – Insurance (Claims)!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Processing of Life and Annuity Insurance claims processing.
  • Handling claims investigation, processing and payments. Determines actions to be taken on the claim (e.g. pay, decline, request for additional documents).
  • Claiming document validation, calculating benefit amount and releasing same to the beneficiary.
  • Working well with Onshore/Offshore and customers encouragingly and professionally via email and on calls.
  • Meeting productivity and quality targets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Rendering overtime whenever requested by the Supervisor including rest days.
  • Using expertise to evaluate the work of others and assist in process calibration.
  • Facilitating team huddles and teach-back sessions as scheduled.
  • Completing certification on the identified process and developmental training.
  • Participating in functional and company-wide activities.
  • Adhering to company policy, guidelines, and hand rules including attendance, clean desk, dress code, etc.
  • Maintaining key records like working files, and email for reference and audit purposes.
  • Ability to handle basic day-to-day requirements of Excel.
  • Handling own work in process and supporting team efforts to ensure that individual, and team goals are met.
  • Identifying process improvements and cost take-out opportunities and driving those projects for closure.

Requirements:

  • Graduate (except B.Tech, Technical Graduation & Law)
  • Good Communication skills – English (both written & verbal)
  • Proactive and high analytical skills
  • Should foresee issues and suggest solutions, with impactful data.
  • Basic Computer knowledge along with typing speed of 35 words/minute
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Self-directed and ambitious achiever, Meeting targets effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, complemented by strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
