Goldman Sachs is hiring for the role of Financial Analyst!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Safeguard the firm’s assets by maintaining the integrity of financial records and expenditures.
- Analyze firm finances, objectives, and strategies to ensure profitability and efficient operations.
- Ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements globally across all business practices.
- Collaborate with various parts of the firm to gain a comprehensive understanding of businesses, products, and technology systems.
- Provide oversight for alternative investments within Goldman Sachs Asset Management, including Direct Hedge Funds, Hedge Fund Strategies, and Private Equity Group teams.
- Manage and support complex private fund operations, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitor and review financial transactions and processes for accuracy and adherence to internal controls.
- Prepare detailed financial analyses and reports to assist in decision-making and strategy formulation.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet regulatory and compliance standards.
Requirements:
- Qualified CA in Nov 2024
- Strong communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Basic industry knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, in particular Excel
