Crisil is hiring for the role of Research Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Support the modelling team with the setup and maintenance of financial models by adopting a proprietary framework
  • Undertake migration of existing client analyst models into the proprietary framework
  • Create earnings reports by analyzing financial disclosures and conference call transcripts
  • Support the senior modellers with finalising the modelling approach factoring in company-specific and industry-level fundamentals
  • Assist the team with pilot assignments on modelling and report writing

Mergers and Acquisitions:

  • Business alliance with S&P: In February 1996, CRISIL forged a strategic business tie-up with Standard & Poor's (S&P) Ratings Group. The alliance is part of CRISIL's strategy to develop its skills and processes.
  • In May 2005, S&P acquired 58.5% stakes in CRISIL. International rating agency Standard & Poor's (S&P) became the major shareholder in Indian credit rating agency CRISIL Limited with 58.5% stake after it acquired 49.07% shares in an open offer.
  • In March 2000, CRISIL acquired INFAC for ₹ 7 Crores. INFAC is a major provider of research on Indian industry. Its canvas of research covers over 30 industries including sectors such as the internet, retailing, LNG, etc. Its client base includes domestic and foreign banks, corporates, FIIs, consulting firms, and the government.

Corporate Social Responsibility:
