BEL Recruitment 2023 For Trainee Engineers: Apply Now For 43 Posts

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) is an organization that needs no introduction. A Navratna PSU under the Indian government’s Ministry of Defence, there are 43 vacancies under BEL Recruitment 2023 for trainee engineers holding a BE/B.Tech or B.Sc (Engg) degree.

BEL Recruitment 2023 For Trainee Engineers: Eligibility Requirements

Only Indian nationals can apply for the post. Please find below the requisite qualifications: 

Note: 

• Relaxations in age limit:
• SC/ST candidates by 5 years
• OBC candidates by 5 years
• PwBD candidates: 10 years in addition to aforementioned relaxations, if applicable. 
• Teaching/Research work, experience in non-profit organizations, and internship/project work placements which are part of the academic curriculum will not be considered as experience. Work experience prior to completion of the relevant Graduation will not qualify as relevant Post Qualification Experience.

BEL Recruitment 2023 For Trainee Engineers: Selection Process

Here’s the selection process for the vacancies: 

• The selection process includes a written test worth 85 marks and a personal interview worth 15 marks. 
• Shortlisted candidates (who meet the eligibility criteria) will be called for the Written Test. 
• Candidates who qualify written test will be called for Personal Interview in a ratio of 1:5. 
• The minimum qualifying marks in Written Test and Interview is 35% for General/EWS/OBC and 30% for SC/ST/PwBD.
• The lists of candidates shortlisted for the Written Test/Interview and final selections will be made available on BEL Website: www.bel-india.in (Careers Section)

The venue for the Written Test and Interview for Trainee Engineer – I for NS (S&CS) is Kochi. The venue for the Written Test and interview for Trainee Engineer – I for NS (R&FCS) will be intimated later.

BEL Recruitment 2023 For Trainee Engineers: Salary

Selected candidates will receive a monthly, consolidated remuneration of INR 30,000 in the first year and INR 35,000 in the second year. If the contract is extended to a third year, the monthly remuneration will be INR 40,000. 

Additionally, an yearly, consolidated amount of INR 12,000 will be paid towards reimbursement of expenses like medical insurance premium, life insurance premium, uniforms, stitching charges, footwear allowance, etc.

The maximum tenure for Trainee Engineer-I is 3 years. 

BEL Recruitment 2023 For Trainee Engineers: Application Process

The application fee for General, EWS and OBC candidates is INR 177. SC/ST/ PwBD candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee. The fee once paid will not be refunded.

Candidates who wish to apply for both posts need to submit two separate applications with separate application fees, as applicable.
