FMS final placements 2021 recorded the highest package of INR 58.8 lakh!
FMS placements 2021 witnessed growth on many levels. This year again it recorded 100% placement. The numbers of PPOs increased as compared to last year despite the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic situation and were the highest ever to date. The highest CTC increased by INR 20,000 as compared to last year and stood at 58.8 LPA.
Analysis of FMS placements 2021
The points mentioned below summarise the major highlights of FMS placements 2021:
- As usual this year also FMS recorded 100% placements with the highest package of INR 58.8 LPA
- The median package (the range at what most of the students in the college secured placement) this year stood at INR 24 LPA
- 102 companies participated in the FMS placements 2021 out of which 84 companies made 228 offers
- This year FMS achieved the highest number of PPOs (Pre Placement Offers) ever
- The number of project management offers increased by 36% as compared to 2020
- 77% of the offers were above INR 20 LPA with an average CTC of top 100 offers at INR 31.8 LPA
- The average package for female candidates increased to INR 26.4 LPA
- The entire placement process was held virtually keeping the coronavirus pandemic into consideration
Recruiter-wise analysis of FMS placements 2021
The recruiter-wise details of the FMS placements this year are as follows:
- 23 new companies participated in the FMS placement season this year including HCL, Ericsson, BMW.
- The biggest recruiters this year also were the E-commerce companies and offered product and program management roles which many students aspire to work in.
- 34% of the total offers made were in the Operations/IT/E-commerce domain by reputed companies including Amazon, Flipkart, Go-MMT, HCL, Microsoft, Media.net, Myntra, Paytm, UnitedHealth Group.
- Top consulting firms which remain an all-time favourite of MBA grads to work in most B-Schools made offers to 30% of the students along with companies that offered roles for strategy and general management domains. The reputed firms that offered roles in these domains were ABG, Accenture, Bain & Co., BCG, Capgemini, EY, IBM, JSW, Kearney, Reliance, RPG, and TAS.
- Sales and Marketing roles which made up 20% of the total offers were made by companies in the FMCG, pharmaceutical, consumer electronics, retail, E-commerce, industrial goods, and automobile sectors.
- BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, Insurance) domain accounted for 20% of the total offers made in roles including front-end investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, corporate banking, wealth management, and treasury.

CTC and offers related stats (FMS placements 2020)
The statistics regarding the CTC of the FMS placements of last year are as follows:
- In 2020 there was an 11% increase in the average CTC to 25.6 LPA
- There was also a 42% increase in the consulting offers
- A 36% increase in total PPOs offered were recorded
- The highest CTC stood at INR 58.6 LPA
- The average CTC for the top 100 stood at INR 31 LPA
