Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS)

It is open for 10+2 passed students of Jammu & Kashmir and the Ladakh States

Open from: 6 July 2020

Passed 10+2 examination from (JKBOSE or CBSE Schools located in J&K and Ladakh) in the academic year 2018-19 or 2019-20

  • General degree academic fees: INR 30, 000 per annum, Hostel: INR 1 Lakh per annum
  • Professional (Engg./Nursing/ Pharmacy/ Hotel Management/ Architecture etc) academic fees: up to INR 1.25 Lakh per annum, Hostel: INR 1 Lakh per annum
  • Medical/BDS or equivalent academic fees: Upto INR. 3 Lakh per annum, Hostel: INR 1 Lakh per annum

It is designed for helping students who cannot afford quality education due to the high fee structure. It is to encourage such students to pursue academic excellence

It is a part of the mission of AICTSD (All India Council for Technical Skill Development) to promote and create leaders from the student and professional community among the country and the world

  • Any School or College student (From age group of 10 to 24 years old)
  • Only candidates from Asia, Europe, Australia, North America, and South America can apply
  • 1st Prize Money of INR 1,25,000
  • 2nd Prize Money of INR 50,000

Swami Dayanand Scholarship Program

Its aim is to inspire and transform the lives of brilliant and economically backward students

Application Deadline: 31 December 2020

  • Candidate should be studying in the Govt & Private schools recognized by CBSE Board
  • The gross annual income of the family of the candidate from all sources does not exceed INR 2 Lakhs per annum
  • It will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks in the previous final examination
  • It is open for Delhi/NCR region only
  • Smt. Shyam Lata Garg Scholarships for Class 12 students - INR 5000 per annum
  • Sh. Anand Swarup Garg Scholarships for Class 11 Students - INR 4000 per annum
  • Sh. Ram Lal Gupta Scholarships for Class 10 students - INR 3000 per annum

Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship

It is for meritorious girl students belonging to minority communities.

Application deadline: 25 November 2020

  • Only girl students belonging to notified minority communities: Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, and Parsis are eligible
  • Minority girl students who are studying in Class 9th to 12th and have secured at least 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate in previous class/qualifying exam
  • The annual income of student’s parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs 2 Lakh

Vahani Scholarship 

It is a not-for-profit organization working to further the education and prospects of children from underprivileged backgrounds in India

1 December 2020 

  • The applicant’s family annual  income should be less than INR 1.5 lakh per annum
  • It is open for students in 12th grade and have scored 85% or above in the 10th and 11th examinations 
  • It will support the scholar’s full tuition fee for the entire duration of the course
  • Fixed stipend as travel allowance, college textbooks, etc will also be provided
  • Stipend to purchase a laptop and fully covered return journey back and forth home once in a year

CBSE Merit Scholarship

Its aim is to provide scholarships to the meritorious girl students who are the only child of their parents

21 December 2020

  • All single girl students who have secured 60% or more marks in the CBSE X examination
  • The student must continue her school studies in class XI and XII in school 
  • Rs 500 per month (paid for a maximum period of 2 years)
