A fellowship opportunity for female candidates in Artificial Intelligence has been announced by IIT Madras. The Post Baccalaureate Fellowship application process has commenced at the Robert Bosch Centre for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (RBCDSAI).
Post Baccalaureate Fellows will conduct independent research under the supervision of an RBCDSAI faculty member, and also collaborate with research teams and establish collaboration and a positive relationship with the Centre's numerous visitors and affiliates.

IIT Madras AI Research Fellowship For Women: Details
Being an Interdisciplinary Research Centre, RBCDSAI is well known in India for its excellent research in Data Science as well as Artificial Intelligence. RBCDSAI holds the largest network analytics, works on prospects of deep reinforcement learning, and also encompasses the most active natural language processing and deep learning groups.
The program will seek out female graduates/postgraduates under the age of 28 years as of 31 March 2022 with exceptional skills for the 2-year research fellowship in AI and data science.
The fellowship program is aimed at providing an opportunity for these exceptionally talented individuals to attend talks and interact with reputed scientists from around the world. The event will also aid them in joining leading companies in Data Science and AI or pursuing future research in top universities.

Alongside that, fellows will receive support to attend Women in Tech events like ACM-W, Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing, etc, and a chance to be paired with a female mentor from the academia or the industry.

Research Fellows will receive an initial stipend amount of INR 40,000 per month. The stipend amount may be revised depending upon the qualification and experience that the fellow holds.
A Letter of Recommendation may also be provided by the faculty, which will be based on the fellow’s performance during their work period. This LOR will aid fellows by adding value to their profile, which will, in turn, reflect their performance during their future academic/industrial endeavors.
