Masters’ Union Summer Placement beats IIMs and ISB: Receives Highest Package of INR 45 LPA

Masters' Union School of Business, a recent addition in the list of Indian B-Schools, has witnessed the highest average package among its contemporaries. The average package stands at INR 29.12 lakhs, which is 11.5% more than that of IIM-Ahmedabad. The highest package offered was 43.66% by the top 10% firms. Masters' Union: The Monumental Placement Report 

Masters' Union School of Business, has released the placement report of its Flagship ‘Post Graduate Program in Technology and Business Management’ (PGP-TBM). The Placement report of the 2021 cohort was verified & audited by Brickworks India, which is also the auditor for IIM’s placement reports. 

Masters' Union: Placement Statistics

Masters' Union witnessed an average package of 29.12 lakhs, while the highest package standing at INR 45 LPA. 16% of the candidates were freshers. The average work experience of the candidates was about 3 years, with 31% being engineering graduates. A total of 45 recruiters participated in the 2021 placement cohort. 

As mentioned by the report, the average CTC offered at Masters' Union is marginally higher than the IIMs. Further, 7% of the cohort has started their own startups and have raised VC funds. 

Masters' Union: Astounding CTC Demographics 

The top 10% of students have secured a package of 43.66 lpa, top 50% have managed to earn an average package of 36.12 lpa. It is interesting to note that the middle 80% and the bottom 25% of students have also managed to secure considerably good packages, averaged at 28.76 lpa and 19.38 lpa respectively. Freshers, too have secured remarkable packages, averaging at 23.20 lpa!

Masters' Union: Notable Recruiters 

As per the placement report, Fintech provided the maximum number of offers, 25.56%. The finance sector finished second providing 18.54% of the offers. The Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) sector offered the least i.e 6.26%.

Domain-wise recruiters 

Big term firms, such as Microsoft, CISCO, Virtusa, Cognizant, managed to top the list in terms of CTC, with an average CTC of INR 35.21 lpa. Consulting continues to be in top 3, with an average CTC of 30.72 lpa. Notable consulting firms include BCG, Bain, EY, Thoucentric. FinTech companies,Razorpay, Juspay, Ziploan, Niyo, Jodopay, Intellect, recruited the maximum number of candidates, and provided an average CTC of INR 24.78 lpa. Finance finished at the bottom with an average CTC of 24.39 lpa. They include major companies namely, Citibank, HSBC, CRISIL. 

Masters' Union: The emerging B-School
