IIM Ahmedabad Concludes Summer Internship Placement: HUL, Microsoft, & TCS Emerge As Top Recruiters

Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) recently concluded its Summer Internship Placement drive for the PGP-FABM Class of 2023. The second cluster witnessed a total of 50 companies visiting the campus while the third cluster witnessed the participation of over 20 companies. IIM-Ahmedabad: Placement Demographics

IIM-Ahmedabad follows a cluster system for its final placement process, where sectors are divided into distinct cohorts. Considered as one of the most reputed B-schools of the country, students of IIM-Ahmedabad receive offers from the leading companies of the world. 

IIM-Ahmedabad Cluster 2 Placements

IIM-Ahmedabad’s Cluster 2 internship placement took place on 19 November 2021. The Summer placement program consisted of 7 cohorts, which include: Advertising & media, consumer electronics, consumer goods & durables, consumer services, conglomerates, retail B2B & B2C and pharma–health care.

IIM-A witnessed a total of 50 companies visiting the campus, with the entire process conducted via the online mode. 

IIM-Ahmedabad: Top Recruiters

HUL (Hindustan Unilever) rolled out the highest number of offers, 14, overall. Amazon topped the list in the Retail B2B & B2C cohort, with a total of 11 offers. TAS (Tata Administrative Service) was the top recruiter in the Conglomerates cohort with 7 offers.

IIM-Ahmedabad’s Cluster 2 internship placement took place on 22 November 2021

The Cluster 3 of the Summer placement drive consisted of 9 cohorts: Banking financial services & insurance (BFSI), consumer technology, core manufacturing & infrastructure, education tech, enterprise tech, financial tech, IT consulting & analytics, renewable energy & green tech, and social enterprises & NGO. 

47 students received offers from over 20 companies. As mentioned previously, the entire process was conducted through online mode, abiding by the rules of the ongoing pandemic. 

IIM-Ahmedabad: Top recruiters

Tata Consultancy Services emerged as the top recruiter from cluster 3 rolling out a total of 12 offers. InfoEdge topped the list in the IT Consulting and Analytics sector providing 5 offers. Microsoft was the highest recruiter in the Enterprise Tech cohort with 7 offers.
