HPCL Recruitment 2023 For Project Associate With Monthly Stipend Of INR 50k

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) is inviting applications for the role of project associate on a fixed-term basis for the HP Green R&D Centre, Bengaluru. Per the HPCL Recruitment 2023 notification, candidates with B.Sc., M.Sc, Diploma, and PG Diploma are eligible to apply.

The Research & Development Centre of HPCL is known as the ‘HP Green R&D Centre’. Located in Bengaluru, the R&D Centre provides advanced technical support to the Refineries and Marketing business units for operational improvement, absorbing new technologies, and developing innovative & path-breaking technologies. The center is recognized by The Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) and has collaborations with research institutes in India and abroad.

HPCL Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Individuals from the following disciplines are eligible to apply for the role of project associate listed in the HPCL Recruitment 2023 notification. 

Please find below the additional requirements for the position: 

• Age limit: 28 years or below
• Relaxation for OBC (Non-Creamy layer), SC/ST, and PwBD candidates as per the Government Directives.

• Educational Qualification: 
• For General, OBC-NC, EWS candidates: minimum 60% marks (aggregate of all semesters/ years)
• For SC/ST and PwBD candidates: minimum 50% marks (aggregate of all semesters/ years)

• Defective Color vision is a disqualification under the pre-employment medical norms of HPCL.

HPCL Recruitment 2023: Selection Process

All applications will be screened to shortlist eligible candidates. Shortlisted candidates will have to undergo a personal interview by the selection committee. 

Per the HPCL Recruitment 2023 notification, if a large volume of applications is received, further shortlisting criteria will be adopted to restrict the number of candidates called for the personal interview. In this case, one or more of the following methods will be used for shortlisting: 

• On the basis of higher educational qualifications.  
• On the basis of relevant work experience 
• On the basis of application screening (on eligibility criteria)  
• On the basis of Resume shortlisting 
• Holding a written test. 

Shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo a pre-engagement medical fitness examination. 

HPCL Recruitment 2023: Salary & Tenure

The selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of INR 40k to 50k, inclusive of accident insurance, medical insurance, etc. 

Per the HPCL Recruitment 2023 notification, candidates will only be provided with a sharing bus facility for commuting on a pay-and-use basis. Breakfast and lunch facilities are also provided at the office premises but for a nominal monthly lump sum amount. 

Selected candidates will initially be hired for a period of one year. On the basis of the project requirement and performance, the tenure may be extended - but the maximum duration is three years.

• Scanned copy of their Passport size photo (in jpg/gif format less than 50 kb)
• Soft copy of the detailed CV (including a brief description of the Ph.D. topic in case of Ph.D. candidates) 
• Once the form is complete, submit it online by clicking the Submit button at the bottom of the page 
• After submitting the form, candidates will receive a system-generated unique 12 Digit Application / Reference No. The Application / Reference No. is required for all future references.
• Candidates need to take a print of the online application form, affix their recent passport-size photograph, sign the form and keep a copy for future reference. Candidates are not required to submit a hard copy of the form to HPCL
