Per the recruitment notification, the selection process is as follows: 

• Candidates will be shortlisted on a merit basis by the Integrated HQ of MoD (Army). The cut-off percentage of marks for each stream will be based on the cumulative percentage of marks obtained up to the final semester/year. 
• Shortlisted candidates will be intimated about center allotment via email.
• Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed at one of the selection centers. Candidates will be intimated about the selection center via email and SMS. must select dates for Service Selection Board (SSB) interview. The duration of SSB interviews is five days.
• The duration of SSB interviews if for 5 days. The SSB interview is divided into two stages. Individuals who clear Stage-1 will go to Stage-2. Those who fail in Stage-1 will be returned on the same day. 

Indian Army SSC Recruitment 2023: Salary & Tenure

• Selected candidates will be granted the rank of Lieutenant (SSC) on probation from the date of commencement of the course or the date of reporting at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, Tamil Nadu, whichever is later.
• They will be entitled to full pay and allowances admissible to the Lieutenant during the training period. The training period will last 49 weeks.
• The monthly stipend to cadets during the entire duration of training will be INR 56,100.
• On successful completion of pre-commission training, officers will be confirmed Short Service Commission (Technical) in the rank of Lieutenant. 
• Post completion of training officers will be eligible for Lieutenant rank (Level-10) pay grade of INR 56,100 - 1,77,500.

Officers (Male and Female) shall be liable to serve for ten years. The tenure may be extendable by a further period of four years subject to terms and conditions.

• Applications will only be accepted online on the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. On the website, click on ‘Officer Entry Appln/Login’ and then click ‘Registration’ (unless already registered). 
• Read the instructions carefully and complete the registration. 
• Post registration, click on ‘Apply Online’. This will lead you to a different page, titled ‘Officers Selection – ‘Eligibility’. Click on the ‘Apply’ button for Short Service Commission Technical Course. This will lead you to the page for ‘Application Form’.
• Read the instructions carefully and click ‘Continue’ to fill in details as required under various segments - Personal information, Communication details, Education details, and details of previous SSB. ‘Save & Continue’ each time before you go to the next segment. 
• After filling in details on the last segment, you will move to the page ‘Summary of your information’ wherein you can check and edit the entries already made. Only after ascertaining the correctness of all your details, click on ‘Submit’. 
• Candidates must click on ‘Submit’ each time they open the application for editing any details. The candidates are required to take out two copies of their application having Roll Number, 30 minutes after the final closure of the online application on the last day.
• Candidates have to carry the self-attested copy of important documents(mark sheets, application forms, etc.) along with originals to the selection center.
