ISB Placements 2022: PGP Batch Receives 2066 Offers; Average Salary INR 34.07 LPA

The Indian School of Business (ISB) completed campus placements for the Post Graduate Program (PGM) in Management batch of 2022. Combining the numbers at the two campuses - in Mohali and Hyderabad - a total of 2066 offers from 276 companies were accepted. The average salary saw a 20.78 % rise over the previous year, going as high as INR 34.07 LPA.

Consulting, IT/ITES/Tech, FMCG, Retail and Pharma/Healthcare were the top sectors from which ISB students received job offers.

Key Highlights from ISB Placements

The percentage of women students at ISB is highest among the leading B-schools in India - standing at 39% in the 2022 batch alone. In a statement released by the institute, it was informed that 41% of the job offers were for women students.

The differential between pre & post ISB salary was 173.67%. The acceptable offer ratio translated into an incredible two offers for every student. Besides, due to the Covid 19 pandemic, the entire placement process was conducted in virtual mode this year.

The statement also noted that the class of 2022 has 992 students, which is the highest for any MBA or equivalent program in all of India. In fact, it ranks among the top 10 in the world in terms of class sizes.

Top Recruiters at ISB Placements

Out of the total offers this year, 37% came from the domain of consulting. Top firms like McKinsey & Company, Bain & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Deloitte, PwC, ZS Associates, and KPMG were reported to have taken part in the placement drive at the Indian School of Business.

From the finance sector, companies like Axis Bank, Credit Suisse, First Rand Bank, Barclays, Goldman Sachs, and Wells Fargo joined the drive. Tech firms like Google, Microsoft, Flipkart, Uber, Cisco, Nykaa, Dream11, and Paytm were among the diverse set of recruiters at ISB.

An integrated placements process is followed at ISB, where both the campuses - in Mohali and Hyderabad - take part in placements together. This is in line with the long-standing philosophy of the institute - "One-School Two Campuses".
