49 Students Bag Crore+ Packages At IIT Kanpur Placements!

Despite the repercussions of Covid 19 on the nation's economic foundations, India's top tier institutes have successfully rescued themselves from the gloom with incredible placement opportunities. The placements in the IITs have started with a bang this year on Dec 1. The story is no different for the Indian Institute Of Technology, Kanpur.

IIT Kanpur Placements 2022

IIT Kanpur began its placement session on Dec 1, 2021, for the class of 2022. Continuing the legacy, IIT Kanpur defied all the odds to set a new placement record despite the pandemic. After beginning the season virtually on December 1st, IIT Kanpur received a total of 1062 offers at the end of the 8th day, of which 885 were accepted. The institute received 47 international offers which grew by 150% as compared to last year.

The highest packages till Day 8 stood at USD 274,250 for international and Rs. 1.2 Cr for domestic. In total, 49 offers above Rs. 1 Cr have been received till the 8th day.

IIT Kanpur Placement Highlights (Till Day 8)

1. The campus received a total of 1062 offers.
2. 886 offers accepted
3. Highest CTC International - USD 247,250 
4. Highest CTC Domestic - INR 1.2 Crore
5. 47 international offers made, 150% Growth
6. 49 offers above INR 1 Crore.
7. 156 pre-placement offers (PPOs) were accepted out of 207 offered

Top Recruiters at IIT Kanpur

To date, a total of 1,041 students have been placed through the acceptance of 156 PPOs and 885 Phase-1 job offers. Up until day, 287 companies have finished their recruitment process.

IIT Madras sees record placements on the first session of Day 1

A total of 176 offers were made by 34 companies during Day One’s Session 1.1. This is higher than any of the preceding years. During 2020-21, 123 offers were made by 22 companies at the end of Session 1.1. A total of 11 international offers were received from four companies. In the current Academic Year, IIT Madras students received 231 PPOs.

At IIT Hyderabad, 466 job offers, highest so far

According to the IIT Hyderabad Placement 2021 report released on December 8, 2021, students have gotten a total of 466 job offers, the greatest number during the first round of campus placement. The recruiting campaign attracted a total of 104 companies.

IIT Bombay Placement 2021: 756 offers received by students till Day 2

As on day 2 of the placement process, 8 international companies participated in the placement process and 756 offers were received by students. This is a 50% increase in the selections as compared to last year. For the year 2020, the number of offers received by students on day 2 of 2020 was 503.
