  • Candidates must have at least 60% aggregate (or equivalent CGPA) in B.Tech/ BE/ BCA in relevant fields.

There are three ways of applying for a job at Swiggy, which are:

  1. Direct Application- You can visit the official portal to scout for job openings and send direct applications through the link.
  2. Off-Campus Drives- These are when a company issues recruitment notices calling out all eligible students to apply for the job openings. 
  3. On-Campus Drive- This is when the company visits universities/ institutions to assess fresh talent by inviting them to apply for job openings. All candidates enrolled in relevant courses are eligible to apply.

Swiggy Recruitment Process: Rounds Overview

The recruitment process consists of 4-6 rounds, a detailed description of which is given after the graphic overview below.

Round 1: Online Examination

The online exam for the Swiggy recruitment process will consist of general aptitude, logical reasoning, quant, and coding/ programming questions. The round will take 60-80 minutes, and the level of questions will span basics to medium difficulty level of topics, so prepare accordingly. 

Round 2: Technical Interview 

The Swiggy recruitment process consists of 2-4 technical interview rounds. These are usually on-site and in-person, and the panel is made up of 1-3 interviewers on average. The intent of each of these rounds will be to assess your understanding of programming basics, technical knowledge, and domain expertise. The questions will vary from basic coding MCQs to whiteboard solutions, to writing codes. There will also be questions to test how well you fare on company-specific technical topics i.e. concepts that are most relevant to the profile you are interviewing for and are applied to company operations on a daily basis.

Note that every consecutive technical interview will be more difficult in comparison to the previous one. The questions will span a variety of CS topics including (but not limited to) data structures, algorithms, OOPs, web development, operating systems, DBMS, programming languages, computer networks, etc. You should be well prepared in all relevant topics to progress through each technical interview. 

Round 4: Design Interview

You will move to the next stage of the Swiggy recruitment process only after you clear all the technical rounds satisfactorily. Once the interviewer is sure of your technical expertise, they will test your system design abilities. This will also be a personal interview which might last between 30-40 minutes, and the level of difficulty will be moderate to high. 

Round 5: HR Interview

Last but not the least, the HR interview round of the Swiggy recruitment process is where the interviewer will ask you general non-technical questions to assess personality/ behavioral traits and see how well you fit the company culture and align with its beliefs and thought process. You should be prepared for questions surrounding your resume, personal beliefs, aspirations, strengths, weaknesses, personal and educational background, etc. The duration for this round will be anywhere between 20-30 minutes.
