  • Minimum 60% aggregate in graduation degree (B.Tech or BCA) in the relevant streams.
  • Candidates should not have any backlog at the time of application.
  • Minimum 60% aggregate in both 10th and 12th standards.
  • Freshers do not need any work experience to be eligible for the Freshworks recruitment process. However, having some work-ex may give you an edge over other applicants.

There are multiple ways to apply for a job at Freshworks. These include:

  • Freshworks Off-campus recruitment- These are drives where the company issues notifications for all eligible candidates to apply for a job role. This is applicable for all experience levels as suitable for the profile.
  • On-campus recruitment- This is when the company visits campus to hire fresh talent. Anyone enrolled in the respective university and who is eligible can apply for the on-campus recruitment drive.
  • Online application- You can visit the official website and apply for job openings by sending in a direct application.
  • Employee referrals- Current Freshworks employees can recommend candidates for a job opening. Getting referrals is a great way to get priority in the Freshworks recruitment process.

Round 1: Telephonic/ Online Screening

The first round of the Freshworks recruitment process consists of a telephonic screening, where a recruiter who has gone through your application will reach out to you and discuss your suitability for the profile in general. They might also ask some basic technical questions related to the respective job profile. The duration for this round is anywhere between 20-30 minutes.

Round 2: Online Assessment

Once you clear the online screening, the next step of the Freshworks recruitment process is the online assessment. The online tests have two sections- aptitude and coding. The aptitude test will consist of MCQ-type questions that will test your verbal ability, logical reasoning, and general knowledge of quant. The coding part of the assessment generally consists of 1-2 basic coding questions. The overall duration for this round is anywhere between 50-70 minutes.

Round 3: Technical Interview 1

If your score after the online assessment is done meets the basic threshold, you will move to the next stage of the Freshworks recruitment process. This is the technical interview which generally happens in-person and on-site. The duration of this round is 30-60 minutes, wherein the interviewer will ask core technical/ coding questions of moderate difficulty level.

The topics covered here will depend on the profile (like frontend, backend, full stack, etc.) and be specified in the job description. Some common topics for the SDE profile are- OOPs, data structures and algorithms, programming languages, web development, SQL, etc.

Round 4: Management + Technical Interview 2

This is the fourth round of the Freshworks recruitment process. However, it is not mandatory and its occurrence varies from situation to situation. The intent of this round is for the company to assess your subject expertise and superiority in related technical topics, and also assess your management capabilities. The interviewer will most likely ask questions relating to previous product management experience, past projects, etc. The technical questions will include topics like arrays (array data structure, array of integers, etc), app development and management, GitHub, system design, etc. The duration for this round is 25-40 minutes and the difficulty level of questions will vary from moderate to high. 

Round 5: HR Interaction

This is the last round of the Freshworks recruitment process, wherein you will interact with HR. The intent of this round is to see how well you fit into the company culture and work process. You will be asked general behavioral questions and company-specific questions about its stats, suite of products, your favorite product, etc. The overall duration is 20-30 minutes.
