The Rounds In Intuit Recruitment Process

The selection process at Intuit consists of 3-5 rounds on average, which we have discussed in proper detail below.

Rounds in the Intuit recruitment process

Round 1: Written Test

The first round of the Intuit recruitment process is a written test that consists of 4 sections in total. Three of these are given in the table below:

English Section 20 MCQs
Aptitude Section 25 MCQs
Technical Section 35 MCQs
Total 80

The fourth section is the coding section which consists of 3-4 whiteboard coding questions. The intent of this round is to assess general aptitude, time management skills, and knowledge of CS topics primarily DSA. The average duration for this round is 60-80 minutes.

Round 2: Craft Demonstration

This round of the Intuit recruitment process is conducted by a group of 3-4 recruitment team members. It starts with a general introduction followed by a brief of your personal and professional achievements. After this, the interviewee is given a problem statement/ case study that is designed to assess the skills required for the respective job profile. The interviewer wants to assess your approach to problem-solving and analytical thinking, and understand your thought process. The round lasts for about 60 minutes during which you can ask any questions regarding the case and take doubts with the recruiters.

Round 3: Assessors Interview (Technical Interview 1)

Those who clear the written test and the craft demo round will be extended an invite for the Assessors interview round of the Intuit recruitment process. This is the first technical Intuit interview, and there might be anywhere between 2-3 technical rounds as per the situation/ requirements. Your interviewers for this round will be 2 assessors whose work aligns with the respective profile you have applied for.

This round will consist of technical and general interview coding questions from topics including data structures and algorithms, DBMS, OOPs, Operating systems, networking, etc. They may also ask you follow-up questions from the case study round (if any). The intent here is to assess your technical knowledge and deep dive into your technical skills. The average duration for this round is 45 minutes.

Round 4: Team Member Interview (Technical Interview 2)

This round will most likely be a one-on-one interview wherein you will interact with a people manager or a cross-functional colleague whose work also aligns with the role you are applying for. In this round, the interviewer will ask questions related to past experiences, projects, problems faced, solutions found, etc. For CS students, they might also ask you to write on a topic or two, solve a problem or a puzzle, etc. to check how well-versed you are in CS topics.

The intent here is to further assess your technical expertise and see how well you fit the company culture. The interviewer would want to assess how you work in different situations, in a team environment, etc. The general duration for this round will be 25-30 minutes.

Round 5: HR/ Manager Interview

Just like most typical interview processes, the HR interview is the last round of the Intuit recruitment process. In this round, the interview will ask general HR questions relating to the information listed on your resume, your aspirations, strengths, weaknesses, etc.

The interviewer wants to know what motivates you to perform for a job or a company, what are your career goals, and see how that aligns with the company's goals. They also want to assess how suitable you are for the company as a whole and the respective profile. Be sure to answer all the questions with confidence because HR will analyze your body language, poise, as well as communication skills. You can also ask follow-up questions that might help you understand your role and place at Intuit and make an informed decision later on. The average duration of this round is 30-60 minutes.

If you clear all the rounds of the Intuit recruitment process, the company might issue you an offer for the relevant profile.
